Calculators make it much easier to solve difficult mathematical calculations and you can be sure that the results are accurate, which is essential in certain fields of expertise, like engineering or architecture. Calculatormatik goes beyond simple mathematical operations. It offers a wide array of tools, for solving equations, calculating surface areas or volumes, converting any measuring units and much more.

Calculatormatik is compatible with almost any Windows platform, from Windows 95 to Windows 8. The application's components can be extracted from 182 KB archive, so you don't have to go through an installation process. Moreover, Calculatormatik is offered free of charge, but you can make a donation if you wish to support the project.

The first thing you need to know is that Calculatormatik is not a traditional calculator, with number and operation buttons. Its user interface displays a long list of operations, as well as source and target measuring units, in separate columns. When you select certain operations, a small window will show up, on which you can insert your variables and make your calculations. For example, the area calculator can be used to calculate the surface of various polygons or a side of certain three-dimensional shapes. You can select a shape in a drop menu, after which you must type in one or more values, for radius, height base and so on.

Selecting a conversion operation will display two identical sets of measuring units, in separate columns. All you have to do is type a value in an input field and select the source and target units. If you wish to see how many kilometers there are in a mile, you only need to type "1" in the input field and select "mile" in the first column and "kilometer" in the second.

Other useful features can be found in the Tools menu. Calculatormatik provides you with the means to convert Adsense code for Blogger, register or unregister DLL and OCX files and it can display your computer's running time. Furthermore, you can find a list of constants, like pi, atomic mass unit, the speed of light in vacuum and more.
